As new artificial intelligence tools like ChatGPT, GPT-4, and DALL-E become increasingly powerful, much attention has been focused on AI’s potential to perform tasks traditionally done by humans, such as drafting reports, diagnosing patients, and determining treatments. Using AI to inform the public about medical research, however, has received less attention than it deserves. The potential of using AI to make research in medical and bioethics journals more accessible to the public, however, is another promising application of this new technology.
