Peter Bolton
Peter Bolton is a New York City-based journalist, activist and scholar. He is a regular contributor to The Canary and CounterPunch where he writes about global politics, especially US foreign policy in Latin America and the Middle East. His work has a particular focus on ethical issues in public policy and international affairs, and he aspires to bring academic analysis to a broad public audience. His work has also been published at The Orinoco Tribune, the Council on Hemispheric Affairs, LA Progressive, The Guardian, New Politics, Colombia Reports, UpsideDownWorld and DC Line. He has run for local government in Washington, DC, as a Green Party candidate. He has a master’s degree from American University in Ethics, Peace and Global Affairs and is currently pursuing graduate studies in bioethics at NYU.
