Bioethics Education Summer School Online

July 24 – 29, 2023

Bioethics Education International (BEI) invites participants, students, and professionals across the globe to attend the Online Summer School to be held on July 24 -29, 2023.

FACULTY

The Online Summer School 2023 faculty will include notable scholars and experts who will lecture and conduct seminars on current and futuristic topics related to bioethics, global health, and biosciences. Please visit the faculty page for speakers’ bios.

FINAL FORUM

All participants will have the opportunity to engage in discourse over a topic of interest in break-out rooms on the final day of the online program. A selected leader will present the conclusions of each group to the final open forum.

PUBLICATION

In collaboration with the Canadian Journal of Bioethics / Revue canadienne de bioéthique (a bilingual open-access bioethics journal), we are planning a special issue to include submissions from participants, to be revised and submitted during the Fall of 2023 first to Dr. Ana Lita.

SCHOLARSHIPS

As per the World Bank Classification, participants from the developing world may apply for a partial or a full scholarship. Scholarship applicants must include a 300 word statement describing what they will gain from the online summer program and their future aspirations. The scholarship recipients will be notified on July 5, 2023.

CERTIFICATE OF GRADUATION

At the end of the Online Summer School program, all participants will receive a certificate of graduation. To receive this certificate, attendance of the online program is mandatory.

UNIVERSITY CREDITS

Undergraduate and graduate students should inquire about receiving credits from their own educational institutions. Usually, a student may receive 2 course credits. We can provide a document outlining the total program hours, including a list of all lectures, seminars, and other activities, as well as an overall program evaluation of the respective participant.

All participants are responsible for their registration and application fees. Registration fees below include the 6 day program.
