After a scientific meeting on Thursday, the Food and Drug Administration is proposing to simplify the administration of COVID vaccine shots. Instead of the original vaccines, FDA proposes to offer bivalent doses for primary and booster shots. Similar to the flu shots, a single dose of A Covid vaccine may be offered each fall. This proposal has stirred a discussion among the scientific community as well as health officials as little research has been present to support FDA’s new proposal.
