This May, world leaders, scientists, and innovators will gather at the United Nations Headquarters in New York for the 10th annual Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) Forum. Taking place from May 7–8, the Forum will focus on how smart, inclusive, and science-based solutions can help the world reach its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Led by ECOSOC President Bob Rae, with co-chairs from Morocco and Finland, the Forum will explore the role of innovation in tackling major global issues. This year’s discussion will align with the upcoming High-Level Political Forum in July and center on five key goals: health, gender equality, decent work, ocean protection, and global partnerships.
The theme for 2025 is: “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based science and technology solutions for the 2030 Agenda—leaving no one behind.”
