Foundry, featuring interactive video avatars of its faculty for practicing pitches, sales calls, and board meetings. The AI clones are trained on specific professors’ work and deliberately tuned to avoid excessive flattery. They have proven popular with students, who value their round the clock availability, even as faculty acknowledge that the tools raise questions about authenticity, scale, and what is lost or gained when instruction is delivered by a “clone” rather than a person.
